Job Overview

HireOTS is seeking a highly skilled Florida Stormwater Practice Lead to join our team. As a key member of our stormwater management group, you will be responsible for expanding our client's footprint in the local stormwater market through targeted business development strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for continued stormwater growth and innovation in collaboration with Stormwater Leads across the US.
  • Build and manage a stormwater project delivery team in Florida, overseeing planning and detailed design projects, including contract document production, hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, and report writing.
  • Work with other engineering disciplines, designers, and scientists to support specific assignments, including projects involving pipelines, open channels, pump stations, channel stabilization, storage and treatment facilities, and multi-benefit facilities.
  • Travel is required to support client needs and project requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer.
  • 10+ years of experience in stormwater/water resource engineering, including 5 years of client service and business development efforts.
  • Strong design skills for stormwater management, particularly for municipal clients.
  • Familiarity with standard stormwater analysis tools, including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICM, FLO-2D, XPSWMM, ArcGIS, and Civil 3D.
  • Experience working with Florida Water Management Districts.
  • Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering a plus.
