Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion Clinic to join our team. As a Medical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for the administration of all ordered therapies according to prescriber orders, facility protocols, INS standards, and company policy and procedures.
Your primary duties may include:
- Performing duties within the Nurse's scope of practice, facility policies/procedures, INS Standards of practice, and approved facility protocols.
- Administering ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards, and company policy and procedures.
- Completing admission process as directed by Center Director.
- Performing physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults as warranted by the patient diagnosis.
- Referring to the NP on duty for complete physical assessment as needed.
- Documenting all pertinent data in the patient's medical record.
- Reporting all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and following up on any problems identified.
- Evaluating the patient's response to therapy and documenting findings in the medical record.
- Educating patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan.
- Ensuring that all medication orders are complete, accurate, and up-to-date prior to treatment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An ASN or ADN degree and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; or any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background.
- A current unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
- Multi-state licensure if providing services in multiple states.
- Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver.
