At OU Health - 700 NE 13th, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a hospital setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a range of health needs, from routine to complex.
  • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients, coordinating their care and ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, noting any changes in physician orders.
  • Collaborate with physicians to examine patients and perform minor diagnostic procedures and treatment.
  • Obtain and monitor physiological data, observing patient responses and intervening as necessary.
  • Administer medication as prescribed, initiating, regulating, and monitoring intravenous infusions and blood products.
  • Deliver patient care with competence and compassion.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, sharing care plans and providing education on hospital procedures.
  • Make referrals to appropriate personnel regarding patient care needs.
  • Delegate tasks to support staff, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in a hospital setting.
  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
  • Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services, applying nursing techniques as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
  • Basic computer skills.
