Occupational Therapy Specialist for Home Health Care

Job OverviewWe're seeking a skilled and compassionate COTA to join our team in Spokane Valley, Washington. This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to work with a variety of patients and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing personalized treatment plans to enhance their functional abilities.
- Implement occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and equipment recommendations, to promote patient recovery and independence.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to meet regulatory requirements and optimize patient outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- An active unrestricted WA license as a COTA.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in skilled home health care, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
- Active BLS certification via the American Heart Association.
- Ability to provide at least one supervisory reference.
This position offers a competitive salary of $26,112 per month (based on 40 hours/week) plus additional benefits, including:
