Echocardiographic Technician - Per Diem

As an Echocardiographic Technician, you will perform echocardiographic procedures with minimal supervision and guidance from the medical director. You will produce diagnostic images of the human anatomy using various ultrasound scanning equipment, both portably and within the department.

Responsibilities
- Monitor supply usage and maintain records
- Operate Hospital Information systems and assist with patient medical records
- Perform echocardiographic procedures and produce diagnostic images
- Support cardiology services within our Santa Monica and Westwood campus areas

Requirements
- Completion of Ultrasound Technology Program
- At least 2 years of recent Acute Care experience
- RCS or RDCS License
- Current BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric Echo experience
- Congenital Heart Experience
- Ability to depict lethal diagnostic information and communicate with appropriate entities
- Ability to move 500lb+ ultrasound machine around the medical center
- Ability to take call and report to duty within 60 minutes of request
