Meat Cutter Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Meat Cutter to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for driving sales in your area to deliver exceptional member satisfaction. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member's expectations.

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals, educate other associates on tools and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of different meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations, provide high-quality meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, and ensure compliance with food safety standards and inventory management.
• Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement, utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensuring commitment to operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a work area according to company policies and procedures, and ensuring quality and standards for high-volume meat products.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Be an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products, execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality, and interact with associates to understand roadblocks and assist in training them to perform job-related duties.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices.

The estimated hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00, with additional compensation in the form of premiums that may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

• 6 months' experience working in a fresh production department.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
