Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Management Business Solutions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care and Safety:
    • Greet and communicate with patients in a respectful and courteous manner.
    • Explain procedures clearly to patients to ensure their comfort and safety.
    • Obtain and document patient clinical history relevant to the procedure.
    • Monitor patient safety and well-being during exams.
  • Mammography Operations:
    • Perform diagnostic and screening mammograms, including work-ups for symptomatic patients and additional imaging for abnormal results.
    • Assist the radiologist with breast ultrasound exams as needed.
    • Conduct bone densitometry studies.
    • Manage patient workflows, including starting and ending patient sessions on the computer.
    • Present diagnostic/screening cases to the radiologist for review.
  • Quality Control & Compliance:
    • Perform routine quality control (QC) tests.
    • Follow all HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of mammography rooms.
    • Keep rooms stocked with necessary clinical supplies.
    • Complete incident reports as required.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain patient data in the MagView system.
    • Receive and unload clinical supplies upon delivery.
