Dishroom Attendant

Hobnob Neighborhood Tavern is seeking a skilled Dishroom Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our chefs and cooks.

• Reset the dishwasher for dinner service
• Assist in prep as needed, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
• Clean as you go to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Verify prepped items are correct and meet our high standards
• Use our recipe book for all recipes made
• Clean the area after each prep item
• Perform additional projects or tasks as assigned by our Kitchen Manager or Supervisor
• Wash all dishes as needed
• Transport backups to the line or service area with urgency
• Keep the floor in the prep area and surrounding areas clean and dry
• Replace backups as they are called to the line
• Communicate with the line on any potential needs
• Assist in cleaning the entire kitchen, including walls, knives, counters, legs, and under shelving
• Sweep and mop the kitchen
• Empty trash cans and transport them to the dumpster
• Rinse trash cans and set them to dry overnight
• Perform additional projects or tasks as assigned by our Kitchen Manager or Supervisor
• Retrieve measuring cups, spoons, and rubber spatulas from the dish area and place them in their proper containers in the prep area
• Remove prep mats and clean them on the back dock according to procedures
