About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Surgical Nurse to join our team at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.

Job Summary:

This part-time position is for a day shift (7am-7:30pm) with every other weekend and holiday rotations. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art medical unit, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and wound care
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions of care

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire (if practicing within this state)
  • 1 year Nursing experience
