About the Job:

This Physical Therapist position offers a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will work closely with a diverse group of students, teachers, and healthcare professionals to provide physical therapy services and promote optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assessing students' physical therapy needs and developing individualized plans of care.
  2. Providing direct physical therapy services, including exercise programs, manual therapy, and equipment recommendations.
  3. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  4. Documenting students' progress and communicating with stakeholders through regular reports and meetings.
Requirements:
  • Certification or licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state where the job is located.
  • Graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Minimum one year of experience in pediatric school-based physical therapy preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical records (EMRs).
