Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Plant Electrician/Mechanic to join our team in Meriden, CT. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving electrical/control systems, as well as performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/control systems, including control components, I/O, PLC devices, and logic.
  • Maintain and improve network systems and communication.
  • Perform independent preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on web handling production equipment, ultrasonic welders, pleaters, pumps, heat exchangers, building HVAC, and facility utilities.
  • Document work in maintenance tracking systems and develop/refine standard work for maintenance activities.
  • Perform basic welding, machining, and fabrication tasks using shop equipment, power tools, and precision measurement instruments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic) or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic work experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Ability to work rotating weekends, overtime, or holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Possess or be in the last 6 months of pursuing a two-year technical degree or certificate program in an engineering or maintenance-related field.
  • Possess good documentation skills and can read and understand electrical/mechanical prints.
  • Basic understanding of predictive/preventative maintenance and condition monitoring techniques.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $$85,000 - $110,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
