Job Title:
Pharmacist-In-Charge

Job Summary:
Morris Plaza Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to lead our team. As a Pharmacist-In-Charge, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical care, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of controlled substances.
• Oversee and train pharmacy staff to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to manage patient care effectively.
• Maintain inventory levels and manage stock to prevent shortages and overstock.
• Handle insurance claims processing and reimbursement efficiently.
• Address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.

Requirements:
• Must have a valid state required pharmacist license.
• Must have a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Preferred qualifications include a minimum of 3-5 years of experience, strong knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations, proficiency with pharmacy management software systems, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
