About the Role

As a Dialysis Technician with Fresenius Medical Care North America, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support to individuals requiring hemodialysis therapy. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals in providing comprehensive patient education and support regarding dialysis treatment, vascular access management, and disease process understanding.
  • Welcome assigned patients, assess their well-being, and report any concerns or observations to supervisors.
  • Evaluate vascular access for patency, perform cannulation, and administer heparin as delegated or permitted by state law.
  • Initiate and monitor dialysis treatments according to prescribed orders, ensuring accurate machine programming and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to address intradialytic complications and ensure patient comfort and well-being throughout the treatment process.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certified or eligible for certification as a dialysis technician or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for prolonged periods, with occasional pushing and pulling of equipment weighing up to 15 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
