GPU Systems Advocate

NVIDIA seeks a highly skilled professional to own the technical engagements for its rapidly growing GPU hackathon program. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with scientists at universities, supercomputing centers, and enterprise organizations to promote the use of GPUs for HPC and AI workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit sites to host successful hackathons and guide their teams through the planning process
  • Assess resource requirements and identify gaps to delivering a quality experience for participants
  • Identify and recruit key codes to participate in collaboration with hosting sites, national labs, enterprises, and NVIDIA teams
  • Assist in identifying and recruiting mentors
  • Moderate events, build training materials, and mentor team members
  • Secure and manage GPU resources for events
  • Deliver comprehensive internal feedback reports and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with NVIDIA product teams to support product adoption and bug fixes
  • Promote the impact of work accomplished by teams through blogs, presentations, and other media
  • Support ongoing post-event communications to track team progress and inform readers of mentor opportunities

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in HPC or AI domain
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Fluent in GPU programming
  • Experience in using AI for scientific domains
  • Ability to think strategically and manage day-to-day events and accounts
  • Proven ability to understand partner goals and distill feedback into an action plan
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
