Critical Care Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:
Compunnel is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse Specialist to provide expert care for patients with life-threatening conditions or complex comorbidities requiring advanced organ support and invasive monitoring. This role demands clinical excellence, critical thinking, and quick decision-making in a fast-paced and high-stakes environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU for critically ill patients
- Utilize advanced medical equipment for invasive monitoring and organ support
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in EPIC (computer charting system)
- Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and provide life-saving interventions
Requirements:
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience
- Proficiency in computer charting systems, particularly EPIC
- MA or Crisis License holders with prior license infractions are not eligible for an emergency license
Certification: Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
