Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our innovative cardiovascular program.
Job Summary
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures, ensuring that it is properly sterilized and calibrated.
- Assess patient condition, prepare them for procedures, and provide personalized care throughout the treatment process.
- Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, facilitating their integration into the team and ensuring they meet departmental standards.
- Participate in orientation programs, helping new staff members become familiar with our policies, procedures, and technology.
- Use downtime efficiently by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing other tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager.
- Maintain strong working relationships with physicians and leadership, promoting open communication and collaboration to deliver exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Registration with ARRT or RCIS, with certification in Cardiovascular (CV) or CI preferred.
- BLS training required; ACLS training must be completed within six months of hiring and maintained throughout employment.
- One year of experience in a Cath Lab setting is desirable, but not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits
- $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
