Job Summary
Michigan Farm Bureau is seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to lead our Property/Casualty Customer Service team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the successful execution of all aspects of the PCCS process, including system entry, requirements gathering, issuing, production, and mailing of policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce expenses
- Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and ensure the team has the necessary tools to support their functions
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve corporate goals and objectives
- Recruit, retain, and develop a qualified staff
- Maintain a high level of technical expertise and knowledge of company guidelines
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in insurance, business, technology, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to coach the development of others and manage performance
- Ten or more years of technical experience, including P/C license or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Willingness to pursue continuing job-related education
- Ability to work efficiently under stressful conditions and meet pre-established deadlines
