Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator with Estimating Expertise to join our team. This role will provide leadership, coordination, and final preparation of estimates for various project types and sizes. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be interacting with staff at all levels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Estimate Preparation: Organize, plan, and schedule estimate preparation, ensuring timely completion.
  • Meetings and Assignments: Facilitate meetings necessary for estimate completion, assign work, and adjust assignments as needed to ensure complete and reliable estimates.
  • Trade Partner Strategy: Work with the project team to determine trade partner strategy and prepare invitation to bid/budget to guarantee complete pricing coverage.
  • BIM and Quantity Survey: Obtain all relevant documents, including BIM, and promote collaboration between parties to ensure comprehensive Scope and Budget Alignment.
  • Changes and Quantity Survey: Ensure completion of changes discussed in estimate reviews and perform thorough quantity surveys of materials/resources required.
  • Schedule and Logistics: Work with the project team to determine site logistics and schedule requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Cost Modeling and Value Analysis: Utilize cost history to inform scope, pricing, productivities, etc., and provide system area quantity survey and cost history.
  • Bid Day and Presentations: Prepare for, participate in, and manage Bid Day or presentations to owners.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Electronically file appropriate documents, archive in Eos Cortex, and maintain accurate records.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with Estimating Leaders, project teams, and visit project sites to ensure proper allocation and reporting of costs, work hours, and quantities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Estimating, Civil or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field experience.
  • Experience: Minimum six years construction industry experience.
  • Skills: Detail orientation, proven ability to organize and manage multiple project tasks, familiarity with building and estimating techniques, and software proficiency.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams of estimators on larger projects and advance the capabilities of team members through coaching and mentoring.
  • Industry Knowledge: Builds industry relationships and works to increase knowledge of all building systems.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) retirement plan with generous matching contributions, paid time off, holidays, and other paid leaves, life insurance, disability insurance, employee assistance program, tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance, gym membership discount program, and identity theft protection.
