Salary
As a Med-Surg Registered Nurse with our agency, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from $1500 to $2500 per week, depending on your experience and qualifications. In addition to your hourly wages, you will also receive tax-free stipends for meal, incidental, and housing expenses. Your recruiter will confirm your eligibility and provide additional details regarding your pay package.
Job Description
As a Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) with our agency, you will be responsible for providing care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures. You will also attend to those who are being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness. Due to the broad range of medical conditions Med/Surg Nurses will encounter, they must be well-versed in a large variety of health conditions. This includes assessing changes in patient's health status, performing various treatments, administering medication, and maintaining meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must possess an active RN License and degree from an accredited nursing program. You must also have at least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting. Additionally, you should hold BLS Certifications and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. Other requirements may be determined by our client facility.
