Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Assistant to support our Gastroenterology department. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, observing and reporting patient response to treatment, and assisting physicians during endoscopic procedures. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reprocessing scopes and other instruments, actively participating in infection control, and making pre-procedure and post-procedure phone calls as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of an approved Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program or one year experience directly related to the medical field; Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.

Work Environment:
Monday - Friday daytime hours.

Salary:
G3: $16.00 - $25.88.
