We are seeking a highly skilled Premium Reconciliation Representative to join our team at Securian Financial Group, Inc. in Madison, WI.

Overview

As a Fortune 500 company, we provide life insurance, investment products, and other financial services. This role will be responsible for handling customer service-related inquiries that come to our Madison Branch Office (MBO).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer service-related inquiries (calls, emails, and other correspondence) for the Madison Branch Office (MBO).
  • Communicate with employers, employees, Wisconsin Department of Employee Trust Funds staff, and Home Office associates to resolve inquiries and solve problems regarding insurance plan provisions and administrative procedures.
  • Audit and process retirement certifications of coverage.
  • Reconcile monthly premiums for local and state government employers, annuitants, and directly billed insured.
  • Verify eligibility for conversions to individual policies.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 2+ years' experience in office administration and customer service.
  • Experience working with accounting, payment reconciliation, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Wisconsin Statutes and Wisconsin Administrative Code Rules applicable to the Wisconsin Public Employers Group Life Insurance Program.
  • Experience in the insurance industry.
  • Experience using the CARE claims system.

Compensation

The estimated base pay range for this job is $18.27 - $31.73. Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information on base pay and incentive pay can be discussed with a member of the Securian Financial Talent Acquisition team.
