Emergency Room Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in our 24 bed, Level 3 Trauma Emergency Room, ranked #2 in Lifepoint Health.
As an RN in our ER, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to patients experiencing a wide range of traumatic injuries and medical emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and critical conditions, including trauma, cardiac events, respiratory distress, and other medical emergencies.
Quickly and accurately assess patient conditions, prioritize care based on severity, and initiate appropriate interventions.
Work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Administer life-saving treatments and interventions for trauma patients, including wound care, medication administration, and emergency resuscitation.
Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and positive patient outcomes.
Accurately document all patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Provide patient and family education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe and compliant environment for all patients and staff.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Current State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure
Associates or Bachelor's degree or RN Diploma in Nursing
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
ACLS & PALS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
TNCC - Preferred
1 year of Emergency Services nursing, AEMT, Paramedic or Military experience - preferred
