Financial Planning Analyst

Position OverviewThis role is responsible for complex and interpretive financial analyses. The successful candidate will provide periodic reports and special studies for management, responsible for the annual budget process, forecasts, or statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis. Additionally, the candidate will coach less-experienced financial analysts.
Responsibilities- Prepares strategic planning and profitability reporting for the company.
- Provides detailed analytical support to include market dynamics, competitive information, mix enrichment, and internal cost drivers to support the management team.
- Consult with teams to analyze identified trends, performance enhancements, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Research, develop and execute complex financial plans.
- Drives the annual budget process for assigned function(s).
- Engages in project planning and implementation.
- Oversees the completion of projects or assignments including planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc.
- BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience required
- 3-5 years financial analysis experience required
- MBA or other Master's degree preferred
- CPA/CFA license preferred
- Knowledge of financial concepts, principles, and best practices
- Ability to provide insightful analytics to executive management
- Ability to interface with all levels of the organization
- Ability to assimilate broad source data into planning models
- Ability to identify variances and trends
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and quantitative analytical skills
- Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a team
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Pay Ranges:
$54, $91,638.00
This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law.
Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range.
The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience.
An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.
