Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Neurohospitalist Physician to join our team at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. As a Neurohospitalist, you will provide comprehensive management of adult neurological patients in the acute care setting, including diagnostic and treatment decisions in the ED, thrombolytic and/or endovascular stroke treatments, and management of other routine and complex inpatient neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the inpatient setting, collaborating with multiple medical disciplines.
  • Supervise and teach neurology residents and residents from other disciplines.
  • Participate in teleneurohospitalist rotations to deliver virtual inpatient non-emergent neurological care within the system.
  • Contribute to quality improvement measures within the neurology department and the hospital for neurology-specific matters.

Requirements

  • Must be a board eligible or board certified physician.
  • Must obtain an active Illinois medical license.
