Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Medical Team Leader in the Labor & Delivery (L&D) and Postpartum unit at St. Anthony Hospital.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will lead and coordinate care for patients undergoing delivery and postpartum care. As a Medical Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that high-quality patient care is provided, while also maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospital setting, specifically in L&D and postpartum care. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent leadership skills, strong communication, and critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate care for patients in the L&D and postpartum unit.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • RN licensure in Oregon.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in L&D and postpartum care.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with a block schedule of 12-hour shifts, rotating between 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. You will be required to work every other weekend and participate in an on-call rotation.
