Job OverviewThe Cardiovascular Radiographer will play a vital role in expanding our cardiovascular program, working closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
We offer a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience. Responsibilities- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Participate in the orientation of new staff and serve as a preceptor for radiology students.
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing delegated tasks.
- Completion of a 24-month formal radiologic technology program or military program.
- Eligibility and/or current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Certification in Cardiovascular (CV) or Certification of Intravascular Interventional Technology (VI) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within six months of hire.
