Job Overview

Spees Design Build is a leading architecture, engineering, and project management consulting firm seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Design Professional to join our team in Kent, WA.

Estimated Salary Range: $85k - $125k DOE

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop detailed electrical-engineered construction drawings, specifications, design narratives, reports, and feasibility studies.
  • Responsible for designing and specifying MV and LV electrical power systems, standby power, UPS power systems, lighting and control systems, telecommunications systems, fire alarm systems, security and surveillance systems, nurse call systems, and lightning protection.
  • Perform electrical engineering feasibility studies and calculations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and designers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in electrical design and engineering.
  • Engineer-in-Training/Engineer Intern (EIT/EI) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, electrical standards, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
