Job Title: Medical Case Reviewer - Pediatrics Specialty

Salary: $60-$80 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. With an average review time of 15-30 minutes per case, our reviewers can earn a substantial income while working from the comfort of their own homes.

Job Description:

Pediatrician Opportunity: As a pediatrician reviewer with Dane Street, you will be responsible for reviewing medical cases related to pediatrics, using your expertise to determine the medical necessity of services provided by other healthcare professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review all medical records and address each question posed by the client utilizing client-specific criteria or nationally recognized evidence-based criteria
  • Evaluate the rationale for the determination and ensure it is clear, concise, and contains adequate supporting documentation
  • Identify, critique, and utilize current criteria and resources, such as national and professional association guidelines, to support sound decision-making
  • Provide copies of any criteria utilized in a review with the report promptly
  • Maintain proper credentialing and state licenses, as well as any special certifications or requirements necessary to perform the job
  • Attend all required orientation and training sessions
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including identifying and responding to quality assurance issues, complaints, regulatory issues, depositions, court appearances, or audits

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
