We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Waterbury Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a nursing professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care, ensuring seamless communication with the healthcare team
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Perform procedures and treatments as required, adhering to established protocols and guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and contributing to process improvements
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Current ACLS certification
- Experience in intravenous therapy, including starting IVs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Healthstream and hospital intranet systems
