About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team, providing diagnosis and treatment for complex cases.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in speech therapy and a passion for working with adults and children who have communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects.

As a Speech Language Pathologist Level II, you will evaluate patients, administer diagnostic tests, and provide individualized treatment plans. You will also collaborate with physicians, advise on test results, and participate in developing inservice programs for staff development.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, identifying opportunities to contain costs and improve services, and assisting with community programs.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects.
  • Administer diagnostic tests and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in staff development programs and training sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Speech Therapist.
  • A valid Speech-Language Pathologist License (California).
  • Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate.
  • National Provider Identifier.

Kaiser Permanente offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
