About the Opportunity
We are looking for a talented Business Development Specialist to join our team at Alnylam. As a Commercial Representative for Rare Diseases, you will be responsible for driving physician and patient identification, disease awareness, overall market development, and brand awareness within your assigned territory.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biotech or pharmaceutical sales, with experience in gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, or other relevant areas. They will be able to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, office staff, and patients, while effectively prioritizing and managing time, activities, and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory plans to drive patient identification, disease awareness, and market development.
- Build and maintain relationships with HCPs and office staff through effective communication, planning, and relationship-building.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of commercial strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of demonstrated success in biotech, specialty pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
- Experience in gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, or other relevant areas preferred but not required.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
