Job Overview

This is a full-time position for an experienced maintenance technician to join our team in the Portland metropolitan area. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing work orders efficiently and accurately, performing basic plumbing and electrical repairs, conducting drywall repairs and painting, turning vacant units, and lifting items up to 75 lbs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete work order requests promptly and effectively.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing and electrical repairs.
  • Conduct interior and exterior painting and drywall repair services.
  • Prepare vacant units for new tenants by cleaning and making necessary repairs.
  • Lift and move heavy objects up to 75 lbs.
  • Organize and prioritize work orders to ensure efficient use of time.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance, preferably with at least 1-2 years in property management maintenance.
  • Excellent customer service skills, self-motivation, and efficiency required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish-speaking candidates preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required.
  • Must have a reliable truck or working vehicle.
  • Must have necessary tools, including a ladder.
  • Candidates must pass a criminal background check and provide professional references.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $49,920 - $62,400, depending on experience. The expected hours are 40 per week, with an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday, and on-call duties as needed.
