Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at St. John's Episcopal Hospital.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and protecting the hospital's network and systems from cyber threats. This will involve integrating and utilizing multiple security programs and resources, including NDR/EDR, SIEM, SOAR, and email security tools.

The Cybersecurity Specialist will work closely with the Operations and Applications teams to ensure the effective implementation of security measures while maintaining the uptime and availability of systems.

This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential vulnerabilities, assessing risks, and developing appropriate mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization's critical assets.

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in Information Security, IT Infrastructure, Compliance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure & networks.
• Familiarity with current identity access management procedures and workflow.
• Experience with firewalls a plus.
• Ability to document and maintain InfoSec-related policies and procedures.
