Fleet Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Lead to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet equipment.
Job Description- Troubleshoot and Repair Fleet Equipment: Diagnose and repair diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, bobtails, reefers, and lift gates, to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns and extend the lifespan of our vehicles.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately document all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability to maintain accurate records and facilitate efficient maintenance operations.
- Road Rescue and Transportation: Respond to road service calls and perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations.
- Experience: 3 years of commercial Diesel mechanic or reefer experience, or 2 years of Diesel Mechanic exp with TK or Refrigeration certification.
- Skills: Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations, read and understand technical and service manuals, and possess excellent communication skills.
- Certifications: Must furnish own personal hand tools and be willing to assume increased responsibility and certifications.
We offer a competitive salary of $32 per hour, plus a $10,000 retention bonus, annual tool allowance, and benefits starting day one, including medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, and flexible scheduling options.
