Salary and Benefits

The starting pay for this position is $24 per hour, with opportunities for bonuses and overtime. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Job Description

As a Class A CDL driver for SHARP Fleet, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer unit, transporting Amazon loads primarily through no-touch freight (drop and hook only). You will maintain accurate records of your working hours, verify load accuracy, and perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.

You will also utilize app-based technology to track, log, and manage loads and hours, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have at least 6 months of experience with no prior accidents
  • Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
  • Must successfully pass DOT physical
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
  • No current CDL suspension or revocation
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be able to use handheld technology and smartphone applications such as GPS
  • Must be flexible
