Clean and Maintain Facilities

As a Custodian at the California State Government, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining various facilities, including classrooms, cafeterias, gymnasiums, auditoriums, lounges, offices, locker rooms, and hallways. Your duties will include dusting and polishing furniture and woodwork, emptying waste receptacles, spot mopping spills, and removing gum, debris, and graffiti as needed. You will also be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting drinking fountains and restroom facilities.
