Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Technology Apprentice to join our team at LyondellBasell Industries. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring and operating plant process equipment, assisting process technicians, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and operate plant process equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Assist process technicians with daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by following safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a minimum of 30 credit hours of relevant technology coursework.
  • Must register for the internship college course at their home college.
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders, work in confined spaces, and work at heights of 300 ft. or more.
  • Ability to perform walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, twisting, and lifting a minimum of 55 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Must possess or obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card prior to first day of employment.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment screening process.
