Job Summary

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled travel nurse to join our team in a critical care setting. As a travel nurse in our ICU, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in a 32-bed ICU unit
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and cardiac rhythm
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Perform various medical procedures, including intubations and ventilator management
  • Participate in code blue and rapid response team activations
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of North Dakota
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience in a 200+ bed, level 1 trauma hospital
  • Experience with titrating vasopressor drips and managing critically ill patients
  • EPIC EMR experience
  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
  • NIHSS certification
