Senior Internal Medicine Physician

We are seeking highly skilled Senior Internal Medicine Physicians to join our expanding team at Atria Physician Practice New York PC.
As a Senior Internal Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and working closely with our Chief Medical Officers. You will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and an innovative approach to your work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment and Diagnosis: Partner with CMOs to perform comprehensive health assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests, to identify patients' health status and needs.
- Treatment and Management: Collaborate with CMO to provide primary and specialty care services, including prescribing medications, ordering, and interpreting diagnostic tests, and implementing therapeutic interventions.
- Health Promotion and Disease Prevention: Educate patients and families about health promotion strategies, disease prevention measures, and lifestyle modifications to improve overall health and well-being.
- Clinical Care: Perform clinical skills such as phlebotomy, IV insertion, and EKG. May need to see patients independently for urgent visits on weekends.
- Documentation and Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Requirements:
- Current NYS License required as NP or PA-C
- 2+ years experience as a practicing NP or PA-C
- BLS & ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Availability to work 4 days X 10 hour shifts with flexibility as needed
