Cable Splicer

Cable Services Company Inc is seeking a skilled Cable Splicer to join our team of dedicated professionals in the telecommunications industry. As a Coax Fiber Splicer, you will be responsible for splicing new build and upgrade coaxial cable plants, requiring frequent travel.

With a strong focus on safety and quality, this role demands exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in splicing aerial and underground coaxial cable, along with proficiency in related splicing equipment and experience working at heights above 30-40 ft.

The successful candidate will be able to read system design maps, fiber schematics, blueprints, and basic electronic designs, possess a general understanding of RF and Fiber-Optic technologies, and have excellent communication skills. This position offers competitive compensation, including an estimated salary range of $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, holiday, vacation, and 401K.

• Job Responsibilities:
• Splice active and passive CATV equipment
• Rough balance and troubleshoot coaxial cable plant
• Operate aerial lift and other related equipment
• Frequently communicate with management on workload status
• Perform routine construction work as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in splicing aerial and underground coaxial cable
• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency in related splicing equipment
• Experience working at heights above 30-40 ft
• General understanding of RF and Fiber-Optic technologies
