We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team at Viper Staffing Services L.L.C. The ideal candidate will have expertise in radiation therapy and medical imaging, with a strong background in physics and mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and evaluate new analytical techniques for medical imaging and radiation therapy
  • Plan and ensure safe and accurate treatment of patients using radiation therapy
  • Create new systems to investigate medical conditions in patients
  • Provide advice on radiation protection and safety protocols
  • Train and update healthcare, scientific, and technical staff on radiation therapy and medical imaging
  • Manage radiotherapy quality assurance programs
  • Perform mathematical modeling and data analysis
  • Maintain and calibrate medical equipment
  • Write reports and documents on medical physics and radiation therapy
  • Teach and mentor students and residents in medical physics and radiation oncology

Qualifications:

  • Consult with patients and physicians to develop treatment plans
  • Oversee the delivery of radiation therapy to patients
  • Develop and check patient treatment charts and plans
  • Perform quality assurance on medical equipment and radiation therapy systems
  • Mentor and train residents and students in medical physics and radiation oncology
