About the Inside Sales Representative Role

The Inside Sales Representative will be based out of Mayfield Heights and will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying and nurturing leads, securing and managing smaller to mid-size accounts with significant upside potential, and providing exceptional sales support.

This individual will report into the Regional Sales and Distribution Manager and work closely with the sales team to provide proactive sales support and assistance to customers, guiding them through the sales process and ensuring satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with smaller accounts, understanding their needs, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Follow up on leads and inquiries to convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide support throughout the sales cycle, including preparing quotations, proposals, and presentations for potential customers.
  • Maintain and update sales documents and CRM system.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and analyses for the sales team and management.
  • Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to identify customer order patterns and opportunities.
  • Transfer accounts that exceed a certain revenue threshold to Territory Sales Managers for face-to-face sales support.


Requirements and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
  • Previous experience in sales support or similar roles in a B2B environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic sales environment.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong desire to achieve sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
