The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Equity Trader to join our team in Boston. As an Equity Trader, you will be responsible for executing trades on behalf of our portfolio managers and analysts, with a focus on delivering best execution and contributing to portfolio alpha.
Key Responsibilities- Execute equity transactions using a combination of high-touch and low-touch execution methods.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our investment philosophies and strategies.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and analysts to identify and execute trades that meet our clients' objectives.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and conditions to inform trading decisions.
- Work closely with our global trading teams to ensure seamless execution and risk management.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant trading experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
At Wellington Management, we offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $80,000 - $180,000, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
