Job Summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver to join our team. As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck and flatbed truck with Moffett, loading and unloading products, and ensuring proper placement of materials at job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a dump truck and flatbed truck with Moffett to transport hardscape materials to job sites
  • Load and unload products from dump trucks or flatbed trucks with Moffett
  • Properly place materials at job sites, ensuring accurate quantities and types
  • Identify and handle different types and sizes of materials
  • Assist customers and outside vendors with issues, such as matching materials and quantities
  • Maintain assigned equipment in good working condition and cleanliness
  • Perform daily maintenance checks and report any concerns to supervisors
  • Complete other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • CDL Class A License with at least 2 years of commercial driving experience
  • Moffett experience required
  • Ability to drive dump truck and straight truck with Moffett
  • Previous flatbed and dump truck experience required
  • Certificate of driving school training
  • Acceptable driving record throughout employment
  • Detailed oriented and able to work in a team environment
  • Ability to complete required paperwork for job site assignments
  • Meet DOT federal regulations for certification annually
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to sit, bend, walk, and climb in and out of trucks and Moffett for up to 8 hours a day
