Job Description

This position involves managing the day-to-day operations of the Academic Technology Support Center (ATSC). The successful candidate will work closely with faculty, staff, and administrators to develop and implement strategic plans for academic technology support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing campus-wide academic technology support and maintenance strategies;
  • Investigating, proposing, and participating in decision-making processes for new software and technology purchases;
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to introduce new technologies and enhance existing ones;
  • Reviewing and implementing new technologies to promote innovative teaching practices;
  • Providing training and technical assistance to faculty and staff on new technologies and tools;
  • Collaborating with instructional designers to develop engaging and effective educational experiences;
  • Attending national conferences to stay current with emerging trends and best practices in academic technology;
  • Managing departmental budgets and staff to ensure efficient service delivery.

We are committed to providing our faculty and staff with the tools and resources they need to succeed. As a result, we offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a bachelor's degree and at least three years of directly related experience in academic technology support. A master's degree is preferred. Successful applicants will possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
