As an RV Repair Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues related to automotive, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and plumbing systems. Your duties will include:
- Diagnosing repairs needed to correct identified complaints
- Documenting complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services
- Providing labor time estimates to RV service advisors
- Planning workdays with Service Advisors/Service Manager for maximum efficiency
- Performing repairs and maintenance in accordance with company standards
- Documenting workflow, including diagnoses, cause, and correction, in sufficient detail
- Tracking all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
- Communicating additional service requests to RV service advisors
- Testing and verifying repairs made
- Monitoring repair time and updating Service Advisors regularly
- Performing electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Knowledge in trade fields (automotive, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, maintenance)
- Certification from college or technical school in trade field or equivalent work experience
- RVTI certification preferred but not required
- Minimum of 1 year maintenance or mechanical experience preferred
- Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience
- Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive 'team-player' attitude
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
