Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Recruitment Assistant to join our Human Resources Team. The ideal candidate will support the recruitment process, assist with various HR functions, and ensure the efficient and effective operation of our HR department.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruitment:
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Review resumes and applications, and conduct initial screenings of candidates.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews and assessments.
- Oversee the background clearance process and ensure compliance.
- Input candidate data into the NYC Public Schools clearance system (PETS).
- Maintain constant updates on candidates in the recruitment pipeline.
- Coordinate with the programming department on hiring needs throughout the year.
- Candidate Management:
- Maintain an updated candidate database.
- Manage verbal and email candidate communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate interview schedules and provide necessary information to candidates.
- Gather and provide feedback to candidates.
- Perform reference checks.
- Onboarding Support:
- Assist in new employee onboarding and orientation processes.
- Ensure completion of all pre-employment requirements by new hires.
- Manage HS and MS intern clearance and onboarding into the HRIS system.
- Recruitment Metrics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill positions and cost-per-hire.
- Prepare recruitment reports and dashboards for management review.
- Collaborate with the HR team on data analysis and reporting.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
- Assist with job recruitment and resource fairs.
- Maintain proficiency in G Suite, HRIS, ATS systems, and document storage.
- Ability to report to our main office for a full-time position in midtown NYC (5 days per week).
- Must be able to travel within NYC as needed.
