About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Tift Regional Health System, Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in one or more patient care departments. They will be responsible for assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the health status and needs of assigned patients in a timely manner.
  • Complete all documentation prior to shift end and conduct reassessments on assigned patients per unit policy and when the patient's status changes.
  • Initiate orders as incorporated into plan of care and complete nursing interventions and physician's orders in a timely manner during shift.
  • Accurately interpret, request, and transcribe orders for medications, treatments, procedures, lab work, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Follow hospital policies and standards of Nursing Care, Nursing Practice Guidelines, and provide care appropriate to patient age.
  • Oversee all care on assigned patients and ensure a high caliber of patient care is provided.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse with authorization to practice in the state of Georgia.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
