Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Millwork Fabrication Engineer to join our team at Roomi Group Corporation.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the millwork industry. As a Senior Millwork Fabrication Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings for millwork fabrication using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.

You will read and interpret architectural and shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications, collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.

Additionally, you will visit construction jobsites to verify measurements and dimensions as necessary, perform material takeoffs, and prepare cut lists.

The ideal candidate will have strong spatial visualization skills and the ability to work in both 2D and 3D environments. Proficiency in Excel, PDF manipulation, and other relevant software is also required.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the millwork industry
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Strong spatial visualization skills and ability to work in both 2D and 3D
  • Proficiency in Excel, PDF manipulation, and other relevant software
