Boiler Operator

We are seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to join our team at Saint Elizabeth University. As a Boiler Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of boiler systems and related equipment to ensure uninterrupted production processes and facility operations.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and control boiler performance to ensure optimal efficiency and safety
- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance to prevent equipment malfunctions
- Perform minor pipe repairs and replace worn parts, including valves and filters and traps
- Assist facilities staff with other projects as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship or training program
- Boiler Operator license, minimum black seal
- Welding and electrical experience a plus
- Light plumbing experience
- Physical stamina
